Sunday Soup at The Red Rat

Sunday Soup at The Red Rat is a grassroots grant program for creative projects through home-cooked meals. The basic recipe is that people come together, pay a fee, share a meal, and listen to a bunch of ideas and things people are working on or making. Everyone who purchases the meal gets one vote and all the income from that meal is given as a grant to support the creative project with the most votes.

The Red Rattler Theatre Inc is a licensed non-profit artist and activist run warehouse space in Marrickville, Sydney, Australia.

To apply:
1. Describe your project in 200 words max
2. Why do you need the money?
3. 2-3 images
4. Send all the above to sundaysoupattheredrat@gmail.com

If your proposal is selected, you must be prepared to make a 5min presentation on your project at Sunday Soup for the audience. This can be in whatever format you like. Get creative - get more votes!

We will post a summary of selected finalists to feature at Sunday Soup on our facebook page for people to consider and share before the day.

It's free to apply/submit projects to Sunday Soup. Entry fee to Sunday Soup at The Red Rat is $7-$10 sliding scale (includes a meal and a vote).
