Sunday Soup #8: Halloween Edition!

Sunday soup is a monthly community meal that provides mini-grants for local small-scale creative projects. $5 buys you a bowl and a vote, the entire proceeds of the gathering will go to fund the proposal with the most votes.

It's Halloween month, so we've bumped up the festivities a week as to not compete with any of your ghoulish plans. We are going to try to deck the place out, so show up at the DAAC at 4:30pm if you would like to help us decorate.

Additionally, this is the first month we are accepting Proposals via the all new sundaysoup.org platform. We have developed this site to make it easier for the Sunday Soup projects around the world to stay in touch with each other and to document what's going on in our local soup communities. Here are the steps for proposing:

1. Sign up for an account on sundaysoup.org
2. Join the Sunday Soup Grand Rapids group
3. Click the above "+SUBMIT A PROPOSAL LINK"
4. Fill out the form! That's all it takes.

Not so bad, right?

Be sure to apply for this month's round of Sunday Soup funding by filling out the above form by Friday, October 22 at 6:00pm.
